SUMMARY
This position will support the Ryder Military Training Program and be responsible for providing World Class Recruiting Services to the Ryder organization in a cost effective manner, while continuously searching and providing state of the art Recruitment methodology. Position identifies, recruits, interviews and recommends candidates for the Diesel Technician Training, Pathway Home Program, and other positions as directed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Role will be responsible for liaison activities with the local Military Garrison transition personnel, marketing the Ryder Career Skills, Pathway Home Program, and the identification, recommendation and processing of qualified program prospects per established guidelines.
ADDTIONAL RESPONSIBILTIES
Represent Ryder at all local military garrison career and hiring fairs.
EDUCATION
Associate's Degree or 4 (four) years equivalent related work experience
Minimum of 2 years experience in a related area
EXPERIENCE
Working within the military transition community - preferred
Understanding of the military transition process - preferred
SKILLS
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple assignments and tasks, set priorities, and adapt to changing conditions and work assignments.
Demonstrates customer service skills.
KNOWLEDGE
Proficient in Microsoft Office products Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook) ; intermediate level.
