JOB SUMMARY
Jump start your IT career with Ryder System, Inc.! Ryder’s Information Technology organization is strategically focused on growing the supply chain and transportation businesses through new technology-driven solutions that focus on optimizing transportation and supply chain networks.
The Technology Change Enablement Intern will be responsible for the MYRYDER (ServiceNow) Technology Quick Reference Guide, Knowledge Article, and Micro-Learning Templates, with particular focus on Workday Quick Reference Guide (QRG) Update project. They will review the QRG’s currently in MYRYDER (a ServiceNow platform) to ensure maximum usage and searchability are enacted to provide greater knowledge access to the IT organization and key internal business partners. Great opportunity to learn about the behind-the-scenes of employee portals, understand the scope and effort of sustainment of large implementations, focus on User Experience (UX) in dispersed work forces, get exposure to Workday and Service Now, opportunity to see how Technology partners across multiple departments.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Update existing QRG’s and knowledge articles to ensure maximum searchability
Create reports from most to least used within the platform
Work with key leadership and subject matter experts to determine QRG and Knowledge Article relevancy for tagging and/or archiving
Work with key leadership and subject matter experts to identify new QRG’s/retire defunct QRG’s
Ensure QRG’s are available on correct landing pages, draft corresponding Knowledge Article blurb and tag to ensure maximum searchability
Identify which QRG’s would be better expressed as a micro-learning video demos.
Build Quick Reference Guide and Knowledge Article Templates for Technology use.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION
H.S. diploma/GED - High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Actively pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:
Communications, Marketing, Languages, or Liberal Arts, with a demonstrated interest in Technology
Computer Science, Information Systems or Computer Engineering, with a demonstrated interest in UX
Additional technical majors or business major with technical concentration may be applicable
EXPERIENCE
- 0 to One (1) year ServiceNow platform or related cloud-based software
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
High attention to detail
Research oriented
Focused on UX (User Experience)
Open learning mindset
Strong Word, Excel and PowerPoints skills
Willing to proactively set up meetings
Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
Ability to work independently and as member of a team
KNOWLEDGE
- General knowledge of the operations of a business - required
This internship will pay:
$18/hr. for students currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree
$20/hr. for students enrolled in a Master’s degree
