Position Description
Immediate opening in Seattle, WA for a Regional Class A CDL Truck Driver and we want the right Driver to join us.

$2000 - $2200 Weekly Average, Driver Positions Pay Weekly
$1,250/wk min guarantee for 5 consecutive days worked
Regional within 350-mile radiusof your house
Must have reliable transportation
Must be able to operate Manual AND Auto transmission
1 year Flatbed experience required
NST Tenure bonus $1,000 each year when actively employed from Nov 1st – Oct 31st.
Sign on bonus $3,000 half $1500 after 30 and after 90 days.
Endorsements: Tanker & Doubles/Triples required; Hazmat preferred
Overnights for Route in Ryder Booked Hotel OR Sleeper
Schedule: Monday – Friday -Must be Flexible
Hours per Week: 50 average

Trucks are three years or newer. Ryder Drivers Service the Route, not the Truck. All Drivers have 24/7 Roadside Maintenance by a Ryder Trained Technician plus Service Employees fuel up our trucks at all 800+ Maintenance Facilities.
Deliver SOLO To: WA, OR, ID
Route: Regional
Tractor Type: Super Sleeper, Refrigerators and Inverters
Trailer Type: Dry Van, Reefer, Flatbed 28’, 48', 53’
Equipment: Electric Pallet Jack
Ryder will Train you on all equipment needed to be successful
Freight: Combination of Touch and No Touch Freight
We Reimburse Cost and Provide Training Support for Endorsements

The starting salary for this position is $62,400. Employees may also be eligible for a Shift Differential

Requirements
Minimum 21 years of age
Pass a Ryder Drug Test
Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
Pass a DOT physical
Pass a Ryder road test
Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
Important Note: Additional requirements may be required in different locations and/or accounts.
Responsibilities
Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs
Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
Performs other duties as assigned
