Summary

The RPA Developer IV will develop, implement and deploy complex automated solutions for business processes within the organization. This individual will be part of the RPA development team and work closely with the enterprise automation Center of Excellence (CoE) for the cultivation and proliferation of RPA development best practices as well as the standardization of RPA development principles. This individual will collaborate with RPA process analysts/modelers and other developers to implement automation of processes using RPA software. He or she will engage with the change management, deployment and support of automated processes. He or she will assist with the technical inquiries of federated RPA modelers developers throughout the company. This individual will work with business customers to understand the process, design the process's interaction with systems and applications, implement the process as well as document and maintain it throughout its life cycle.

Essential Functions

  • Develop automated solutions using UiPath, Kofax Kapow and other RPA software for business processes. Focused on more complicated and complex task as part of RPA development team.

  • Coordinate and perform code reviews, change management and production deployment of processes

  • Work with CoE and assist automation opportunities from a technical perspective and perform due diligence to arrive at an optimal solution

  • Work with RPA platform and operations teams on trouble shooting issues in production environment, along with enforcement of best practices

  • Assist processes analysts and federated modelers & developers with any RPA related technical issues

Additional Responsibilities

  • Provide support for environment setup, software installation and testing

  • Identify issues or exceptions within the implementation of a process and communicates them to the CoE

  • Contribute toward building a library of automation templates

  • Work with the other developers and CoE to come up with best practices and policies

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills and Abilities

  • Experience in developing and implementing solutions using UiPath/Kofax Kapow software

  • Has familiarity in consuming and invoking APIs and web services into the automations

  • Developed and deployed solutions in non-production and production environments

  • Experience in monitoring and troubleshooting of issues with processes in production environments

  • Help develop POCs for customers and for internal needs (preferred)

  • Follow design and coding standards and good practices

  • Support User Acceptance Testing

  • Develop automations with minimal supervision from given PDDs

  • Follow organization policies for time reporting, administrative guidelines, workplace etiquette

  • Knowledge of Agile software development lifecycle, including experience of applying change control procedures and disciplines required (preferred)

  • Problem solving with strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex requirements and define technical/functional advanced solutions

  • Ability to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment, work under tight deadlines

  • Continual improvement: always growing ones craft, learning new tools and techniques to manage oneself and a team

  • RPA and Automation tools (one or two – Kofax Kapow/UIPath/Blueprism/Automation Anywhere) expert required

  • Ryder business knowledge / practices / processes preferred intermediate required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required in Business, Engineering, Technology or a relevant degree

  • Seven (7) years or more experience in Software Development Life Cycle required

  • Four (4) years or more experience in automating processes using RPA software (Kofax Kapow/UIPath) required

  • RPA and Automation tools (one or two – Kofax Kapow/UIPath/Blueprism/Automation Anywhere) expert required

  • Ryder business knowledge / practices / processes preferred intermediate required

data/ranges; applicant’s skills; prior relevant experience; certain degrees or

certifications, etc

The salary for this position ranges from $ 90,0 00.00 to $110,000.
