The Equipment Quality Coordinator will be responsible for delivering RVS's value to the customer. This individual will be primarily responsible for pre-inspecting vehicles before the customer takes delivery. S/he will also be taking scheduled vehicles for test rides as part of our scheduled RVS exercise program.

Exercises used vehicles on Ryder property to assure vehicles are road ready: Check for leaks, visual inspections, and check for minor mechanical malfunctions
Makes recommendations and complete minor repairs and adjustments on Ryder’s Used Vehicles
Records findings and data in variety of Ryder’s systems, and report them to Vehicle Sales Manager
- Performs other duties as assigned
Skills and Abilities
Ability to work in an outside environment
Ability to work flexible hours including shift work, weekends, holidays and possibly in different locations
Capable to follow directions from multiple individuals
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
Ability to work independently and as member of a team
Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment
Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized with strong time management skills
Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices
H.S. diploma/GED required
One (1) year or more mechanical and/or customer service required
Two (2) years or more demonstrated mechanical experience/aptitude preferred
Must have a valid Driver’s License and the ability to meet Ryder’s driving qualifications
Non-Regulated Tech must adhere to Ryder's Safety Standards
