The Senior Manager Rental is responsible for leading the business unit to overall profitability and growth of the rental product line through successful implementation of; Marketing, Sales Management & Execution, Financial Responsibilities, Leadership, Operations and Fleet Management, Customer Retention and Development and Communication. This position reports directly to the Director of Rental. This position will directly manage all Rental personnel including; Rental Account Managers, Branch Rental Manager, Rental Counter Supervisors, Management Trainees, Rental Sales Representatives and Sr. Rental Sales Representatives. Each Rental Manager will have approximately 12-14 employees and be responsible for annual revenues greater than $9.5 million. The position is territory based, requires heavy ground travel and, in addition to a salary, it comes with a car allowance and a yearly bonus incentive.

Sales ExecutionEstablishing and enforcing authority guidelines/limits for pricing within the rental counters, RSRs and RAM salesforcesMaintaining competitive awareness and market pricingMonitoring and enforcing price incentives driven by market conditionsProactively recognizing and reacting quickly to market supply & demandDirectly responsible for overseeing the execution of the entire plan to close process at all locationsResponsible for sales protocols between all RAMS/ RSRs including lead generation and follow up
Direct Sales Management of the RAMsDirectly responsible for RAM quota obtainment in all categories including; New Rental Revenue, Preferred RentalRevenue, New Accounts and Lease ConversionsConducting weekly sales meetingsDriving consistent management around pipeline and activityEnsuring collaboration with local lease sales force
FinancialResponsible for overall profitability of both the rental and trailer pool product lines specifically achieving both revenueand margin plansDirectly responsible for maintaining compliance with company, local, state, federal and other regulatory agenciesAbility to forecast monthly, quarterly and annual results accurately and timelyResponsible for analyzing and interpreting performance through multiple financial reports and metrics
