Ryder System EDI Coordinator in NOVI, Michigan
The EDI Coordinator will maintain carrier EDI testing documentation and monitor daily Carrier Management EDI processing systems. The person selected for this position will handle testing of transportation EDI transactions of new and existing carrier trading partners, contact and implement EDI for new carrier trading partner relationships and support internal departments in freight bill payment problem solving.
Bachelor's degree or 8 (eight) years equivalent work experience
Minimum of 1 (one) year experience with Logi/Corp for internal promotion, or 2 (two) years work experience
Experience with VAX/VMS OS
Advanced Level Skills in MS Word such as keyboard short cuts, creating macros, merge, merge queries, templates, table techniques, and working with images and text
Advanced Level Skills in MS Excel such as working with formulas, data tables, pivot Charts, queries, custom functions, data management and analysis
- Logistics/Transportation study preferred Knowledge of EDI Standards and Conventions including transaction set structure.
Responsibilities for this position: Identification of potential EDI/LEAPS carriers
Analyze EDI for production/test carriers. New Client EDI Implementation
Maintain/Develop EDI Implementation
Maintain/Develop EDI Specifications/Standards
Develop New Client EDI Specifications
Maximize the use of EDI in all Logi/Corp information processing applications
Additional responsibilities for this position include: Customer satisfaction Increase EDI to paper percentage
Review/correct EDI errors
Partnership with carriers
