Summary

The Logistics Coordinator II is responsible for current accountability for travel retail inbound/outbound process both systems/paperwork and physical work.

Essential Functions

  • Allocate and wave orders for daily production

  • Ensure all rush orders from customer are waved and shipped

  • Createproduct allocations in preparation to waving orders

  • Train and develop staff on SAP, as well as trouble shoot system issues

  • Outbound load planning

  • Perform planning function as back up to Planner

  • Perform dispatching function as back up to the Dispatcher

  • Preparedaily fill rate and report back to customer for all outbound orders

  • Schedule all customer pickups using vendor specific online portals

  • Book delivery appointments

  • Update various spreadsheets and access data bases.

  • Build Ryder milk run truck.

  • Print, Sort and slot in bucket prior to providing to the floor for picking.

  • Provide excellent customer service Liaison between warehouse department and customer

Additional Responsibilities

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills and Abilities

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team

  • Experience in freight and load planning

  • High energy and highly-motivated individual with strong customer focus

  • Strong knowledge of Canadian geography

Qualifications

  • College degree/Technical Certification preferred in business, logistics supply chain, transportation or related program

  • H.S. diploma/GED required

  • One (1) year or more related warehouse, dispatch, customer service or administrative experience required

  • One (1) year or more Logistics, Customs and/or Supply Chain Management program or relevant experience required
