About the Job:

  • Type: Full-time Permanent

  • Wage: $65,000 - $70,000 base salary, with a total compensation package exceeding $90,000

  • Shifts: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

  • Location: Greater Toronto Area (GTA) – East Region

About the Role

The Customer Engagement Manager (CEM) is responsible for managing assigned accounts within the Business Unit (BU). This includes developing customer relationships, driving sales growth, and promoting Ryder’s services such as Full-Service Lease, Programmed Maintenance, Lease Financing, and Fleet Management Services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet or exceed sales quotas and profit targets.

  • Maintain consistent in-person and virtual contact with customers.

  • Develop a sales penetration plan to grow Ryder’s market share.

  • Segment and manage accounts based on growth opportunities, retention, and risk.

  • Present Ryder services and develop relationships with key decision-makers.

  • Work collaboratively with other Ryder divisions to explore upsell opportunities.

  • Ensure contract compliance and customer satisfaction through regular check-ins.

  • Provide insights into operational performance and suggest improvements.

  • Conduct market research and track competitive alternatives.

  • Update CRM with relevant customer details and interactions.

  • Educate customers on new services, policy changes, and best practices.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Transportation (or equivalent experience).

  • Experience:

  • 2+ years of outside sales experience (required).

  • 2+ years of customer service experience (required).

  • B2B sales experience required.

  • Background in distribution and manufacturing (preferred).

  • Skills:

  • Sales and account management

  • Negotiation and contractual leasing

  • Pricing strategies

Travel Requirement:

  • Yes (Greater than 60%)
