Ryder System Senior Manager Planning & Analytics in MIAMI, Florida

Position Description

This position will be responsible for providing financial and analytical support.

Requirements

  • MBA or Finance Masters Required

  • Minimum seven years experience in Finance/Business with progressive levels

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • CPA preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent financial and analytical skills

  • Strong organization and prioritization skills

  • Experience presenting complex concepts in concise, innovative formats

  • Proficient in the analysis of financial statements

  • Understanding the explicit and implicit relationships between nonfinancial data and the financial statements, to identify and measure key business drivers

  • Ability to manage multiple projects

  • Strong sense of urgency and the ability to bring timely closure to projects

  • Ability to influence those who do not report directly to this position

  • Ability to collaborate with multiple departments

  • Ability to interact and influence senior management

  • Supervise Financial Consultant

  • Ability to manage and develop staff

  • Knowledge of Hyperion Planning Application

  • Advanced levels of MS Excel and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

  • The financial and analytical support encompasses a broad range of aspects related to the business, including but not limited to: Monthly forecast consolidation, including analytical and trend analysis of the business

  • Development of the annual business plan in conjunction with Field Finance and segment Leadership Development of RCE's for business initiatives

  • Provide overhead and cost analysis support to the pricing group in support for the continued updates to their pricing models

  • Financial modeling of strategic plans and strategic planning initiatives

  • Executive Committee and or BOD support, and other financial analysis initiatives as required by the EVP or Field Finance Directors

  • Provide support on projects requested by the CFO or Senior Management on an as needed basis

  • High level of interaction, up to senior levels, with various internal organizations

  • Self-starter, capable of supporting business objectives, developing and implementing strong project plans

  • Prepare and review requests for Capital Expenditures

  • Ad hoc projects and analysis provide financial guidance on an ad hoc basis for various projects

  • Board of Directors and Earnings call preparation with Senior Management

  • Identify and solve financial and business issues as they arise

  • This may entail significant interactions with various groups in the company

  • (Corporate and Field) Prepare and present quarterly sign-off package
