Summary

The Contract Administrator position will provide support, counsel and advice to fleet Management Solutions including drafting and negotiating customer contracts, advising operations group on all types of substantive commercial matters, managing commercial disputes and regulatory compliance.

Essential Functions

  • Primary responsibility will be preparing, reviewing and negotiating various commercial and transactional agreements as well as working collaboratively with internal clients in North America and Europe on a variety of legal matters.

  • Expected to research and advise on regulatory issues and provide support to and collaborate with the following teams within the organization: Procurement, Operations, Marketing, Real Estate and IT.

  • Responsible for identifying risks and proposing alternative structures to mitigate risks involved in transactions and contracts.

  • Position will involve some management of commercial disputes including interaction with outside counsel.

  • Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)

  • Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment

  • Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills

  • Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required in Business, Supply Chain Management, Economics or other related field/experience

  • Four (4) years or more legal experience required

  • Four (4) years or more corporate and commercial experience required

  • Four (4) years or more experience with commercial contracts, drafting contacts and letters, litigations and other dispute resolution matters as well as regulatory and compliance issues required

  • Two (2) years or more in-house experience supporting company operations preferred
