The Yard Jockey (Equipment Quality Coordinator) will be responsible for delivering RVS's value to the customer. This individual will be primarily responsible for pre-inspecting vehicles before the customer takes delivery. S/he will also be taking scheduled vehicles for test rides as part of our scheduled RVS exercise program.
Exercises used vehicles on Ryder property to assure vehicles are road ready: Check for leaks, visual inspections, and check for minor mechanical malfunctions
Makes recommendations and complete minor repairs and adjustments on Ryder’s Used Vehicles
Records findings and data in variety of Ryder’s systems, and report them to Vehicle Sales Manager
- Performs other duties as assigned

H.S. diploma/GED required
One (1) year or more mechanical and/or customer service required
Two (2) years or more demonstrated mechanical experience/aptitude preferred
Other Must have a valid Driver’s License and the ability to meet Ryder’s driving qualifications
Safety Sensitive Non-Regulated Tech Must adhere to Ryder's Safety Standards
