JOB SUMMARY
Jump start your IT career with Ryder Systems, Inc.! Ryder’s Information Technology organization is strategically focused on growing the supply chain and transportation businesses through new technology-driven solutions that focus on optimizing transportation and supply chain networks.
The Enterprise Integration Services Intern will perform a variety of job functions for traditional on premise as well as cloud-based environments, including but not limited to, software engineering, operational and analytical database design, working with structured, semi-structured and/or unstructured data, data profiling/analysis, database, data ingestion, ETL reporting development, testing, documentation, and production environments support including troubleshooting and break fixes. The position could be extended past the summer internship period and may lead to a temporary position.
Intern will be assigned courses and certifications from Microsoft/Azure to become Integration Developers. Projects assignment will be added under Tech Lead supervision and in line with their skillset.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Simple configuration modifications in a Microsoft Azure IPaaS environment
Coding in C#.NET, SQL, and Azure IPaaS components
Build and support Integration workflows.
Interaction with business users and technical teams
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION
H.S. diploma/GED - High School Diploma or equivalent required
Currently enrolled in Degree in Computer Science or related it field with interest in becoming a developer. Second or higher year of college
EXPERIENCE
0 to One (1) year C#.NET (or C++), SQL required
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Ability to learn fundamental C#.NET and Microsoft Azure IPaaS concepts
Good communication skills with technical and non-technical members of the extended team
Strong oral and written communications skills
Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
Ability to work independently and as member of a team
Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment
Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills
Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices
Knowledge
General knowledge of the operations of a business - required
This internship will pay:
$18/hr. for students currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree
$20/hr. for students enrolled in a Master’s degree
