Summary

The Manager Human Resources Partner will be responsible for significant consulting and partnering with their assigned client group on all HR matters. This position must have broad knowledge and experience in various HR functions including: Employee and Labor relations, Organizational Development, Total Compensation practices, Recruiting, Training, Talent Management, Diversity and Performance Management. The key to this position is a strong business partner who can build alliances through gaining respect among field management and employees. The individual should be able to clearly define how to maximize the Human Resources in achieving revenue and profit goals.

Essential Functions

  • Create Employee Value sales documents and ensure alignment with Sales, Operations, and other vertical documents

  • Act as lead project manager for all HR-related needs for new business; regular cadence with groups such as Compliance, Legal, HR Operations, Payroll, etc.

  • Partner with SET and operations on Driver Announcements and Onboarding of transition of drivers; focus on conversion, engagement, and retention of drivers during first 90 days of hire

  • Support New Manager Onboarding and development during first 6 months

  • Liaison with Benefits team for private fleet conversion comparisons

  • Partner with Recruiting & Compensation for management and driver wages

  • Collaborate with Operations leadership and HRBP on org structure and current incumbents to run business

  • Support WorkDay enhancements for first time users

  • Understand any complexities and/or customizations that will require other teams to get involved and get teams involved early

  • Primarily lead in assessing FMCA, CAMCA, and state-based compliance rules; partner with Legal and HR Operations for final approval and adherence to laws

  • Coordination with HRIS to ensure org set ups are correct on startups

  • Part of SWAT team for retention issues during startup

  • Track and report out on retention numbers for first year; collaborate with BI team to understand trends and predictive analytics

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required Human Resources or related field

  • Master's degree preferred Human Resources or related field

  • Ten (10) years or more Human Resources function experience required

  • Five (5) years or more progressively responsible Labor Relations experience at a Generalist level to include staff supervision. required

  • General knowledge of assigned areas and business perspective. intermediate required

  • Professional in Human Resources Certification

Salary is determined based on internal equity; internal salary ranges; market

data/ranges; applicant’s skills; prior relevant experience; certain degrees or

certifications, etc. The salary for this position ranges from $80K to $100K
