· There is no application deadline or duration for this internship. You can work off and on throughout the entire school year
· You can work flexible hours around your school schedule. Our branches are open roughly 8-5 Monday- Friday
· This position can move to permanent or Full-Time. Depending upon graduation date and availability, you could be moved into our Management Trainee Program (Bachelor’s Degree required)
As a member of our College Internship Program, you’ll be part of a dynamic team & fast paced business to business work environment. You will have exposure and interaction to many levels of our Sales, Management, & Operational organization- from entry level employees to Director level. The experience you will acquire will set you up for a world after college in a multitude of ways and if interested, lay the foundation for a long & rewarding career with Ryder after graduation- like so many current Ryder employees!
Job Summary The Intern will work with front line sales agents & Senior Managers for the rental of vehicles to the Company's current lease and commercial rental accounts, as well as potential commercial rental customers and consumer household needs. This allows the Intern to gain experience working cross functionally with Sales, Marketing, Operations and Asset Management while developing excellent customer communication skills. This role is fast-paced and touches every aspect of the business unit giving you real business experience. There’s never a dull moment… In this role, you will acquire proven industry knowledge, skills and resources while in addition to developing your business skills & interpersonal skills. This is an essential industry and we’ve been in the game since 1933!
