Summary
The Material Planning Associate III is an entry-level inventory management role. Looking for a candidate with strong critical thinking skills and who works well with other people. No prior experience is required; all necessary training is provided. This is a growth position that could lead to many other opportunities at Ryder.
Essential Functions
Manage part deliveries, including scheduling deliveries, adjusting deliveries, and canceling deliveries
Monitor inventory levels to make sure they are sufficient
React to critical inventory shortages with recovery transportation plan
Input data into a computer system
Read Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and use logistics management software
Communicate via phone, email, and handheld radio transceiver with suppliers, GM personnel, and other Ryder team members

Qualifications
H.S. diploma/GED required
Bachelor's degree preferred
One (1) year or more administrative experience preferred. preferred
Five (5) years or more relevant experience strongly recommended. preferred
