Ryder System Coordinator, Recruitment in Fleming Island, Florida

Position Description

Provide administrative support to the Recruitment Team and serve as liaison between hiring managers and candidates in coordinating all interview schedules and travel arrangements, when necessary.

Shift: Sunday - Thursday 12:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. OR 1:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.


  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Minimum three (3) years experience in similar role required

  • Experience in dealing with executives and employees at all levels of the organization preferred

  • Experience in managing the communication and approach with internal and external customers at various career levels and communication styles

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint);Familiarity with HR Systems (SAP, iCIMS, or similar), a plus


  • Polished and professional demeanor, proven experience in delivering superior high-end customer service

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the intrinsic drive, superior work ethic and ability to work with little supervision

  • Detailed oriented with excellent follow-up practices and customer and team focus.

  • Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, excellent time management skills.

  • Strict adherence to confidentiality with high ethical standards

  • Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment


  • Manage interview schedules with multiple hiring managers per candidate and role, along with travel arrangements with the finesse of a concierge, and the efficiency of an experienced executive administrative assistant

  • Prepare candidate profile packages for presenting candidates to the business that are professional, grammatically correct, and as free of errors as possible

  • Post positions once requisitions have opened to job boards, according to guidelines and targeted industry specific boards, to market positions adequately and attract the appropriate talent pool, as needed

  • Maintain the consistency of the company and the team’s branding guidelines, ensuring a consistent message and style throughout all written communications

  • Work closely with other departments (Benefits, Compensation, HR Operations, Diversity & Inclusion, Organization Development, and HRIS, among others) to update information packets and respond correctly to candidate questions that relate to their decision to join the company or move to the next level in their career as an internal candidate

  • Maintain and update the department Knowledge Base (Shared Drive) to ensure there is a logical order of all Recruitment related documents in addition to updating and creating forms as necessary.


  • Master a variety of tasks in support of Ryder’s Recruitment Team (HQ) that is responsible for attracting and hiring executives anywhere in the US and all Central Support Service departments.

  • Think independently and collaborate as needed, in the execution of daily tasks and responsibilities

  • Coordinate the development and delivery of open requisitions when delivered to the Recruitment Team not ready for posting.

  • Create PowerPoint presentations and other reports, as needed, for the department

  • Order supplies, business cards and any other departmental purchases

  • Support the Recruitment team in special projects or assignments

  • Other duties may be assigned as needed.
