Summary

The ultimate aim of a sales development representative is to expand a company's customer base. The sales development representative will generate leads, solicit new potential customers, and connect these customers with the right sales person.

Essential Functions

  • Prospecting for new business over the phone to a defined group of prospects to generate new customers for COOP by Ryder.

  • Moving leads through the marketing funnel, connecting them to the right salesperson, and arranging in-person meetings, emails, or phone calls.

  • Following up with potential customers who expressed interest but did not purchase any goods or services.

  • Work closely with other COOP Sales teams to develop account intelligence, relationship maps, and use case opportunities through direct account engagement and marketing tools.

  • Load all customer interactions into CRM and setup proper follow-up activities for optimum account conversion.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Provide feedback on customer requested platform features and enhancements.

  • Continuous improvement in all segments of the business

  • MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc) intermediate required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required Business, Logistics, or related field or two (2) additional years of required experience

  • One (1) year or more Business related experience required

  • MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc) intermediate required

Travel: 1-10%
