Summary

The WMS Superuser reports to the Senior Logistics Manager and has responsibility for recommending, developing, and maintaining present and future systems that support the facilities operations, logistics, and inventory process. Also works closely with the US Team to ensure Ryder has continuity among all their warehouses.

  • Maintain proper slotting configuration (Rack and Pick slots) to ensure efficiency in the warehouse

  • Develop and maintain inter-related computer systems that functionally support the facility in all areas of operations including production, maintenance, warehousing, and administration

  • Provide complete training in the use of hardware and software to users of the systems

  • Responsible for maintaining, trouble shooting, and improving on all interfaces of the WMS , material handling systems, RF devices, and other hardware (printers, label makers, etc.)

  • Maintain JDA WMS logic – Ensure operations is satisfied with the way WMS works in: Allocating, Putaway, Replenishment, etc

  • Work with operations to streamline processes and troubleshoot and correct any system problems

  • Develop and maintain system SOP’s (archiving, disaster recovery, back-up procedures, system specs, etc.)

  • Complete velocity and layout analysis and associated changes as scheduled

  • Maintain labor management system and provide data to site leadership as required

  • Performs other duties as assigned

Essential Functions

  • Creates system structures based on analysis of user needs and downstream system impacts for organization, management and HR management. In charge of maintaining, analyzing and troubleshooting problems and developing working solutions

  • Builds reporting and analytics capabilities in HR systems to gain actionable insights for further system and process improvement. Modifies existing reports as necessary to meet user needs.

  • Supports end users on new modules, processes, and functionality through ongoing training support

  • Test, report and analyze the impact of changes as a result of system upgrades/patches.

  • Work with system security to support HR system access, govern and grant access to various systems

  • Triages and first-line end-user support for access issues, system errors and data problems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required in HRIS, HR or Business Administration, Management Information Systems or other business-related degree

  • Three (3) years or more HRIS administration, process flows, reporting and data management experience required

  • Three (3) years or more experience administering HR technology solutions either on premise or cloud platforms that enable HR transformation required
