This Vehicle Sales Management Assistant positionprovides the incumbent with general Asset Management training and vehicle sales training under the tutelage of our Vehicle Sales Manager. In as little as 6 months, start earning aggressive commissions based on the production of the Used Truck Center. In addition, specific training in the areas of Rental, Finance, Operations, Sales, & Marketing will be included in the program. It comes equipped with a salary, benefits, vacation time, a 401k, and the option for a discount on shares. Some travel for training may apply.

Requirements

  • H.S. diploma/GED

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred

  • Five (5) years or more prior leadership experience preferred

  • 2-5 years experience in customer service with issues resolution preferred

  • Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills

  • Customer Service Focused with a commitment to customer satisfaction

  • Ability to:

  • Modify, respond to and integrate change with minimal personal resistance

  • Recover quickly from adversity

  • Self Starter/Self Motivator

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for operational and administrative tasks in support of location and regional management

  • Support the Vehicle Sales Managers in achievement of all location sales quotas, goals and objectives

  • Call on prospective customers and assigned accounts within a specific territory while using constant aggressive telephone marketing skills

  • Maintain contacts with existing customers to improve retention, keeps current on market and customer trends

  • Develop and implement strategies necessary to improve sales performance

  • Performs other duties as assigned
