Part Time Shift hours: Monday - Friday
4:00am - 9:00am

Part Time Fleet Dispatcher is responsible for load-planning and dispatching local drivers in compliance with DOT rules and regulations. Individual will be working in a dynamic environment that focuses on delivering continuous measurable improvement to the customer.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required
Experience with DOT, OSHA, and all related safety regulations preferred
1-3 Years of experience in a transportation, warehouse or distribution environment preferred
6-12 months supervisory experience preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Preferred
Knowledge/Experience in transportation environment, (i.e.: Shipping, receiving and inventory management, distribution or dispatch preferred.)
Knowledge of warehouse and or software applications, routing and dispatch software systems preferred
Responsibilities for a Dispatcher include but are not limited to:
Coordinate out of service equipment with Safety/Equipment Manager and Maintenance Review DVCR's and process accordingly
Complete collision and/or injury reports
Address issues that do not follow procedure
Dispatch drivers to routes
Accurately record driver arrival and departure times Update driver/route magnet board in a timely manner
Distribute tractor keys per procedure
Verify customer delivery windows are being met Timely usage of 5-Alarm process
Direct drivers to appropriate support resources
Ensure all new drivers are trained per customer safety policies
Ensure drivers have appropriate route specific information
Oversee hot part drivers and allocate resources as required
Complete and approve payroll exceptions
