Ryder System Warehouse Worker in BURNSVILLE, Minnesota
The purpose of the Warehouse Associate position is to accurately transfer, package, kit or assemble product and materials, both physically and logically, to fulfill orders, and inventory.
This position is 1st shift and offers a $500 sign-on bonus and full benefit package .
High School diploma or equivalent preferred
One (1) year or more related warehouse experience preferred
Create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
Input data into the WMS computer system (s) in use
Lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
Read, do basic mathematics in English for the purpose of safety, work instructions, policies, etc.
Work independently and as member of a team
Work overtime as assigned
Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment
Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized with excellent time management skills
Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices
Learn to operate powered industrial truck(s), such as: stand-up and sit-down forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, etc., including how to operate and maintain (change battery, recognize common mechanical issues) (intermediate level) preferred
May be required to operate manual and/or automated other warehouse/manufacturing equipment (such as a packaging line) (intermediate level) preferred
Package, kit and/or assemble orders and materials
Ensure all scanning is completed correctly. Ensure facility is secure at end of shift; investigate/resolve scanning issues and housekeeping. Perform picking and packing duties. Check for evidence of product or container damage
Perform the assigned tasks as described in the location's policies and procedures standards to include handling of materials within associated logical transactionsPerform material moves with associated physical/logical transactions as required
Participate in workgroup and other team activities for the purpose of self improvement and improving warehouse operations and related business functions
Perform housekeeping duties for assigned area
Perform other duties as assigned
