Job Description :

SUMMARY

The team leader will lead a team of Sales Representatives that sell to new and existing customers. The team will be focused on generating incremental business within existing accounts as well as renewing business and developing relationships over the phone. These are professional, quota-bearing positions.

These opportunities involve partnerships with business partners throughout Ryder’s Marketing & Sales organization to help accelerate revenue growth and provide greater service to our customers. This leader will also positively impact customer retention.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Lead a team responsible for co-managing Small, Major and National Account clients in partnership with Field Sales staff. This team provides business solutions that impact performance within the customer's transportation needs.

  • Daily interaction with Field Sales Leaders to achieve revenue goals and customer retention.

  • Provide mentoring and coaching to Reps to enhance their ability to leverage the telephone and web for customer presentations and meet sales/quota requirements.

  • Develop a team environment, which will foster strong cross-functional and field relationships that will ensure support to maximize revenue growth. Design and implement comprehensive quality program

  • Educate Reps in strategic account selling in order to penetrate existing accounts, buying process, solution design, decision structure, timing, budgetary process, contract terms, conditions, etc.

  • Regularly monitor and evaluate calls, emails and any other activities being used to ensure quality standards are being met and provide 1:1 coaching.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Program Development – Design and implement comprehensive quality program

  • Monitoring & Evaluation – regularly monitor and evaluate calls, emails and any other communication channels being used to ensure quality standards are being met.

  • Feedback and Improvement Plans – meets with the ADMs regularly to provide constructive feedback based on evaluations. Develop and implement improvement plans for individuals or the team, as necessary.

  • Compliance – Ensures that all legal requirements are in compliance with company policies and procedures.

  • Coaching – provides 1:1 coaching to ADMs – focus on individual development, challenges and career goals.

  • Motivation & Engagement – as the entire team is remove, develop and implement strategies to motivate the team, recognizes achievements, etc.

  • Feedback – provides feedback to leadership and key stakeholders to continuously refine.

KNOWLEDGE

High degree of computer literacy and database management skills ; advanced level.

Knowledge and use of Sales Force Automation tools, i.e., Salesforce.com or other applications ; advanced level; preferred.

EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree marketing or business management.

EXPERIENCE

Five (5) years or more experience marketing with some level of strategic responsibility

Five (5) years or more experience in managing marketing campaigns

Five (5) years or more experience working with cross functional teams

SKILLS

. Verbal and written communications skills

. Provide excellent service to business unit leaders

Compensation Information :

The compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience; education, including relevant degrees or certifications; work location; market data/ranges; internal equity; internal salary ranges; etc. The position may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on the level and/or type. Compensation ranges for the position are below:

120000
