This dynamic role will support our Supply Chain Solutions & Dedicated Transportation Solutions RFI & RFP process and the management of content databases, Loopio and Seismic (formerly SAVO). The Proposal and Content Manager, will assist the pursuit team with customer portals, project management, and developing and executing a clear customer-response strategy. By understanding requirements and Ryder solutions strategy, this position is critical to developing engaging, customer-ready content and responses.
This role's contributions directly impact the quality of customer responses and Sales win rate. The best-fit candidate is organized and comfortable managing projects within a dynamic and often ambiguous environment; is energized by learning and mastering new topics, systems, and technology; and considers communication (written/verbal), networking skills, and an eye for detail to be among their top strengths.

Manages all aspects of the Executive visit process for National Sales including:•Kick-off, Status and leadership briefing calls•Content build, review and production responsibilities for all Customer facing documents•Executive Briefs / Customer Bios•Logistics oversight (on/off property requirements, rooms, A/V equipment, etc.)•CRM Updates and Dashboard metrics
Manages all National FMS, sales material, content updates and version control through content libraries in SAVO and SFDC•Leverage SFDC to manage sales content and dashboard analytics on content usage rates•Leverage Sales enablement software like (SAVO) to perform mass content updates and become the subject matter expert and administrator of the sales enablement software platform•Manage global content variables within the sales enablement software for all mass updates associated with Ryder’s 10K, products, services and solutions•Provide Sales training on SFDC Self Service Library and Sales Enablement Platforms on an as needed basis
Manages all aspects of Strategic Account Plans for National Sales including:•Leverage current platform (Altify) or similar to build a comprehensive customer account plan to share with Sales leadership on a monthly cadence.•Oversight of vendor management / contract renewals / licenses, enhancements•Build out key components of the account plan and ensure the reps are prepared to strategically review customer objectives and next steps with senior leadership on monthly update calls. Support Sr. Bid Manager with proposal related activities including:• Determines proposal concept by identifying and clarifying opportunities and needs; studying requests for proposal (RFPs); attending pursuit team meetings.• Meets proposal deadline by establishing priorities and target dates for information gathering, writing, review, and approval; entering and monitoring tracking data; coordinating requirements with contributors;contributing proposal status information to review meetings; transmitting proposals.• Gathers proposal information by identifying sources of information; coordinating submissions and collections; identifying and communicating risks associated with proposals• Develops proposal by assembling information including project nature, objectives/outcomes/deliverables, implementation, methods, timetable, staffing, budget, standards of performance, and evaluation; writing, revising, and editing drafts including executive summaries, conclusions, and organization credentials.• Prepares presentation by evaluating text, graphics, and binding; coordinating printing.• Maintains quality results by using templates; following proposal-writing standards including readability, consistency, and tone; maintaining proposal support databases
•Vendor Management – Primary liaison between our team and the various software vendors we currently support including but not limited to (SAVO, Altify) for enhancements, break/fix, contract renewals, licenses, etc
Support other team projects and provide field training on an as needed basis

Bachelor's degree required in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Advertising, Finance, or Business
Six (6) years or more working with sales teams to produce and deliver high value customer facing material including customized proposals, presentations, and any other company related material needed to meet the salespersons needs required
Five (5) years or more working with content subject matter experts to build and maintain a repository of high value content that can be easily re purposed by the sales teams through our CRM on an as needed on-demand basis. required
Three (3) years or more experience with a CRM or similar sales enablement software platform to build, manage and deliver sales related content including dashboards and basic analytics for leadership review required
Two (2) years or more experience with customer/ event management involving strategic customer facing engagements involving multiple speakers, topics, and presentation material used to secure new or existing business with either prospects or customers required
One (1) year or more understanding of sales account plans and software tools used in the industry to further penetrate strategic national accounts. Comfortable with training and coaching sales teams on how to use the software and leverage industry best practices preferred
One (1) year or more Vendor Management - Working with software vendors to secure licenses, contract language and primary lead for system enhancements and recommendations to improve and grow the sales adoption of the tool preferred
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
Other Membership in or certification from the Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP)
