SUMMARY

The Warranty Vehicle Spec Clerk provides administrative support to the Warranty Department by creating, validating and analyzing Warranty reports. Assists management by providing internal reports and the field by preparing external reports related to Warranty. Uses Ryder insights and Warranty processing systems to validate and pull data for different analysis and reporting needs to include month-end financials

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Responsible for assisting management in creating and validating internal insights Warranty reporting

Responsible for processing all Warranty 415 repairs and preparing monthly 415 reporting for the field and Warranty Mgmt

Responsible for assisting with Warranty audits to include rejects and missed warranty opportunites

Responsible for working with Warranty OEMs to receive and compile reports to show comparisons of Dealer and Warranty Claims

Responsible for working with Accounting to prepare Eaton Core/Chargeback reports for field reporting

Responsible for assisting Management with logging and follow-up of all Lean Management suggestions for the department

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Performs other duties as assigned

EDUCATION

H.S. diploma/GED

EXPERIENCE

Two (2) years or more analytical/reporting experience a plus preferred

SKILLS

Strong oral and written communications skills Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors) Ability to work independently and as a member of a team to meet departmental deadlines Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices

KNOWLEDGE

Intermediate level of MS Office and Windows knowledge; intermediate level. Data entry with speed and accuracy; advanced level.
