Ryder System Fuel Research Associate II in ALPHARETTA, Georgia

Position Description

The Fuel Research Associate II is responsible for performing reconciliations for all fuel types, contacting locations to correct variances, and preparing and posting journal vouchers.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Two (2) years of work experience in research and/or problem solving

  • Ability to research and interpret data and perform reconciliations

  • Microsoft Office and specific proficiency in Excel

  • Basic accounting experience required

Responsibilities

  • Research and reconcile monthly variances between Liquid inventories and the General Ledger for multiple districts

  • Prepare and post journal vouchers

  • Identify and use analytical techniques to gather, assess and evaluate data (analysis includes quantitative and qualitative results)

  • Assist with daily logs when logs are out of balance

  • Pull and compile data for monthly analysis spreadsheet

  • Work closely with field personnel to insure compliance

  • Typically works as a team player

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work closely with Fuel Specialist 2 to capture missing fuel

  • Work timely and accurately to accomplish all monthly deadlines
