Position Description
We have an opening for a Class A CDL Truck Driver and wewant the right Trucker to join us at Ryder in Grovetown, GA

$2300 or more per week per driver - And it gets better
Driver Positions Pay Weekly
Miles Pay: $0.87 per Mile with 2650 Miles per Week
Per Diem Pay: $35.49 per night with 4 nights per Week
Safety Bonus: Pays Each Driver $250 Every Quarter
Paid Training
Schedule: Sunday - Thursday
Trucks are three years or newer. Ryder Drivers Service the Route, not the Truck. All Drivers have 24/7 Roadside Maintenance by a Ryder Trained Technician plus Service Employees fuel up our trucks at all 800+ Maintenance Facilities.
Deliver As A Solo To Rogers, MN
Must meet requirements to enter Canada with a Passport in case needed for other loads
Route: Home Friday and Saturday
Tractor Type: Assigned Condo Sleeper
Trailer Type: Flatbed 6 months required
Freight: Some oversized loads 6 months required
Freight: Load Securement – Chains and Binders

Requirements
Minimum 21 years of age
Pass a Ryder Drug Test
Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
Pass a DOT physical
Pass a Ryder road test
Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
Important Note: Additional requirements may be required in different locations and/or accounts.
Responsibilities
Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs
Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
Performs other duties as assigned
