Position Description:

The Recruiting Manager manages the interviewing, selection and placement of applicants for employment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in related discipline or 8 (eight) years equivalent related experience

  • Minimum of 6 (six) years related experience

  • Experience with sourcing methods, and best recruiting practices and strategies

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Supervisory experience preferred

  • General knowledge of functional area(s) assigned

  • Must have business perspective

Responsibilities:

  • May have direct responsibility for executive level and/or specialized searches

  • Oversees the development of strategic staffing plans

  • Oversees the design and placement of employment advertising

  • Establishes and maintains relations with outside employment agencies and recruiters

  • Evaluates selection criteria and testing techniques to ensure compliance of standards

  • Participates in the development, implementation and revision of selection criteria and techniques

  • Assists in the development of and executes staffing strategies Develops and controls employment/recruiting budget

  • Ensures adherence to all federal, state and local regulations governing the employment process

  • May provide recruiting support in a start-up environment

  • Promotes the organization as an employer of choice
